Job Title: Forensic Manager – Business Assurance

Location: Nigeria

Purpose Of The Job

  • To support the delivery of predictive analytics and models to allow the development of new Fraud Management solutions and to understand fraud control strategies.

The Job

  • Review financial documents to identify inaccuracies and analyze financial data to trace discrepancies
  • Review areas of high spend to ensure that adequate anti-fraud controls are implemented.
  • Forecast and prevent financial frauds
  • Review employee expense to identify anomalies, abuse and waste
  • Report on revenue losses and damages from contract breaches and investigate complex business cases to minimize risk
  • Ensure that all the investigations assigned are completed within a set period.
  • Ensure that adequate background information is obtained on all relevant processes, procedures and policies and have been identified as integral to the investigation
  • Ensure all information supporting any assertion/conclusions is properly documented
  • Ensure that the investigation file complies with approved Standards

Qualifications

  • 5 ‘O’ level credits including Mathematics and English in not more than 2 sitting.
  • First Degree / HND in Accounting or any related course.
  • Professional Qualifications (Certified Fraud Examiner – CFE) will be a plus.

Experience

  • 3 years cognate experience.

Job Title: Project Manager

Location: Nigeria

The Job

  • The Project Manager in the PMO office will work closely with relevant stakeholders and a small team to partner with one or more business units to facilitate the implementation and smooth running of an effective and lean project management framework in such a Business unit.
  • Provide governance, oversight, and support to projects managed by various business units
  • May assume full responsibility to manage certain projects that are not directly managed by business units
  • Support various change management programmes and, in general, act as an agent of change
  • Support project/programme planning, execution, and tracking of FMN’s portfolio.
  • Coach and train BU project owners/managers on best practices and project management methodologies (e.g.: cost management, tracking, etc).
  • Assist in the definition of project scope and project charter, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility.
  • Help Business units project managers to better coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors to ensure flawless execution of assigned projects.
  • Apply a system to monitor, track progress, manage changes to the project scope, schedule and cost.
  • Measure and report project performance and escalate proactively to management and/or project owners as needed.
  • Perform risk management to minimize project risks
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation and database (digitally)
  • Support and facilitate the adoption of breakthrough business practices and technologies such as Continuous Improvement, Process Automation, AI, Service Delivery Excellence, etc to boost productivity and competitiveness.
  • Coach and mentor project managers at the Business unit level on lean and efficient project management methodologies and practices; provide the necessary toolkits, and recommend training.
  • Participate actively in and is instrumental to the development of FMN’s strategy with regards to project pipeline development, evaluation and selection, and prioritization.

Qualifications

  • First Degree preferably in the fields of Engineering, Management, Business Administration, Computer Science, Operations Research, Organisational Behaviour, Mathematics or Finance.
  • A master’s degree in any of the above or related fields and/or an MBA would be a plus.
  • Project management qualifications would be a plus
  • Advanced finance competency and numeracy are expected. Some understanding of basic accounting would be a plus.
  • Some familiarity with ERPs would be a plus.

Job Title: Irrigation Manager – Sunti Golden Sugar Estates

Location: Nigeria

The Purpose

  • We are looking for an Irrigation Manager who will ensure that irrigation efforts meet efficiency, water conservation, and quality standards, and that tasks are completed on time and within the budget limit.

The Job

  • Monitoring and executing the installation of Bulk Water conveyance system / Sub surface Drip irrigation system as per design and specifications in a sugar cane plantation.
  • Follow up on work execution standards and provide periodic updates on the status of the project. If there is any divergence, the matter is instantly escalated to the next level.
  • Carry out daily progress assessment and substantiate the requirement to complete the project in time.
  • Preparation of Operation and Maintenance (O&M) manuals for easy understanding and execution of operational and maintenance personnel
  • Organize the skilled and unskilled manpower to operate the system as per design standard
  • Follow up on the availability of spares for the maintenance of the irrigation system after installation.
  • Monitoring the power consumption & water use efficiency and generating daily report progress for analysis.
  • Coordinating with the Agric. Manager and irrigation staff to design budgets and strategies for preventative, planned, and emergency repairs, as well as irrigation system upgrades.

Qualifications

  • First Degree preferably in Engineering, Agriculture, or any related field.

Experience:

  • 10 years of cognate experience in the Sugar industry
  • Experience using the sub surface irrigation technique.
